The Leica DISTO X6 is especially suitable for rough construction sites. With an IP65 rating, the extremely robust housing protects against dust and water jets and is drop tested from a height of 2 m, underlining the reliability and durability of this laser measure. With its Pointfinder and large, crystal-clear display, it is perfect for outdoor use. Simple and ergonomic operation is also guaranteed due to the touch screen and the additional measuring button on the side. In addition, a variety of measurement functions, such as Smart Horizontal Mode, height tracking, profile or angle measurements, ensure that any measurement situation can be completed quickly and efficiently. The results can be downloaded as a report and integrated directly, e.g. in quotations, ensuring an error-free, digital workflow. 
Trigger measurements with a wave of your hand 
Sometimes, the pressure of pushing the ON/DIST button can cause the laser point to move off your target.  At long measurement distances, even a small wobble at the laser emitter causes wide movement of the laser point at the end of the line, potentially ruining a measurement, especially on a small target
Gesture-Activated Measurements eliminate the need to touch the Disto:  Carefully place the laser dot or crosshairs of the Pointfinder Camera on you target and simply wave a hand in front of the device to briefly interrupt the beam.  When the DISTO senses this pulse, it triggers the measurement. 
Measure outdoors up to 250m
at 250m (820ft) the range of the DISTO X6 exceeds the ability of the human eye to see the laser point, which makes it hard to take a measurement.
 Even at shorter distances in bright, outdoor conditions, it can be difficult to see the laser point.
The solution is a 4x zoom Digital Pointfinder camera.  Place the crosshairs on yu measuring point and measure with confidence
3D Measurement Ready
When paired with the DST 360-X tripod adapter the X5 is capable of capturing Point-t0-Point (P2P) measurements.
No other laser measure is capable of capturing the precise tie distance between two points from up to 250m meters away.  The Disto X6 can also link multiple measurements together to capture complex shapes in 2D or 3D for export to CAD.
The DST 360-x adapter is sold separately, or it can be purchased together with the Disto X6 in the Disto X6 P2P Package
