      POINT-TO-POINT MEASUREMENT

      The Leica DISTO S910, X4, X3, and the Leica BLK3D can combine   rotation, angle, and distance data to produce highly   accurate Point-to-Point (P2P) measurements.
      The S910 is a standalone P2P device. Its Laser Distance Meter (LDM)   is integrated with a Smartpivot that folds into the chassis of the S910   and provides rotation and angle data.  The S910 can take close-range P2P   measurements without a tripod using the included Smartbase.
      For long range P2P measurements where the pointfinder is used, or   when taking multiple shots to measure the area of a complex plane, or   when working hands-free is desirable, an FTA 360-S tripod   adapter unlocks the full potential of the S910. Using the 4x digital   zoom and an FTA 360-S, the S910 can take P2P measurements up to 300m   away.
      The DISTO X3 and X4 and the BLK3D are capable of calculating P2P measurements when paired with the DST 360 tripod adapter.
      The DST 360 features an integrated rotation sensor that works with   the angle sensors and LDMs in the X3, X4, and BLK3D to provide the data   required to calculate P2P measurements.
